Dane A. Glueck, MD

Dr. Dane Glueck enjoys all areas of orthopedics with a special interest in treating knee problems. This includes treating athletic knee injuries such as ACL and meniscus tears with arthroscopic surgery, and treating knee arthritis with unicondylar (partial) or total knee replacement surgery. He also treats hip arthritis surgically with minimally invasive anterior hip replacement.  Dr. Glueck performs carpal tunnel releases, and treats fractures of all types.

He served as Chief of Staff at Progress West Hospital 2014-2016.  Prior to that, he served as Chief of Surgery 2012-2014.

Dr. Glueck joined Advanced Bone & Joint in January 2011. He completed his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis and medical school at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.

After completing his residency and internship in orthopedics at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Glueck practiced in central Kentucky for two years before moving to the St. Louis area in 2007. He has been practicing in St. Charles County ever since, with the majority of his patient care and surgeries at Progress West HealthCare Center in O’Fallon, as well as the NovaMed Surgery Center of St. Peters.

Dr. Glueck received multiple awards during his training, including the Division of Orthopedic Surgery Excellence Award, AOA and the Buchanan Key. He continuously updates his training to reflect the most recent orthopedic treatment options and techniques for his patients. He frequently gives talks to the surrounding community on knee injuries and arthritis and their treatments. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and has been certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons since 2007.
