Advanced Bone & Joint is a preferred provider for most major health plans serving the St. Louis region, and we accept Medicare and workers’ compensation. Please contact your insurance company to determine if we are "in network" with your insurance plan.
Please note some of the major plans that we do not accept include Medicaid, Essence, Multi-plan, SSM Exclusive Choice, First Health, Care Improvement Plus, and Market Place (Obama Care) plans.
If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
If you have a question related to your bill or insurance, you may contact our billing specialists at (844) 251-3728. Please note we have higher call volume on Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm and 3 pm – 4 pm daily. Thank you for your patience.
Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Advanced Bone & Joint are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). You can make your request by calling your preferred pharmacy, who will in turn reach us electronically for your refill.
Refills are generally not issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as the doctors may not have access to all your medical record during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs, with at least 48 hours' notice, to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
If your insurance is an HMO/managed care plan and you are required to obtain a referral from your primary care physician, the referral must be obtained before you can be seen for an office visit. Please coordinate this with your primary care physician in advance. Appointments will be rescheduled if required referrals are not received in the office by the time of your visit.
To request and obtain your medical records, simply visit the Health Exchange Evolved website and fill out and submit the required HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Authorization Form.
