Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner for Ortho Urgent Care

Sara Herbert is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She takes pride in having a compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Sara graduated from Maryville University with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2013. Since then, she has spent the majority of her career working as a Nurse Practitioner in urgent care and the emergency department. She has also provided care in primary care and pain management settings.

Sara joined the Advanced Bone & Joint Ortho Urgent Care in 2025 to focus on orthopedic injuries and concerns.

Sara is the mother of five children and is affectionately known as “Gigi” to a handsome grandson. She enjoys traveling to visit her family, being active, hiking in the mountains, and spending time on the beach.
