David P. Minges, MD

Dr. David Minges joined Advanced Bone & Joint in the fall of 2015. He is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon specialized in treating a large variety of conditions of the neck and back. These conditions include degenerative arthritis, myelopathy, radiculopathy, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, spinal instability, disc herniations, scoliosis, trauma, and oncologic disorders of the spine.

Dr. Minges is a native of St. Louis and attended Saint Louis University High School. He then completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where he was also a Division I collegiate athlete. 

Dr. Minges attended Creighton University School of Medicine and graduated in 2009. He underwent his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Nebraska, serving as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Minges then completed a fellowship in orthopaedic spine surgery at the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. Here he was mentored by some of the most well-respected academic spine surgeons in the country, receiving advanced training in complex revision cervical and thoracolumbar surgeries.

Dr. Minges is happy to be back in St. Louis and is committed to providing high quality non-operative and operative spinal care for his patients in St. Charles County. His main goals are to alleviate his patient’s pain, restore physical function, and improve their quality of life.
